Theresa Lensander, President, is a certified pension consultant and qualified plan administrator. Ms. Lensander has specialized in 403(b) plans for non-profit organizations since the 1986 Tax Reform Act changes became effective in January 1989. She is founder and past chair of the ASPPA Tax-exempt and Governmental Plans Committee. She has served as Administration Relations Chair for ASPPA Government Affairs. She has partcipated on IRS panels as a private practitioner, as well as IRS training programs addressing 403(b) and 457 since 1999. She currently specializes in ERISA application for 403(b) and 401(k) plan sponsors.

 

Theresa Lensander has assisted with the development and evolution of the IRS voluntary correction process and has served on the Executive Commitee of the Los Angeles Benfits Conference. Ms. Lensander is the founder and past president of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference Chapter in Santa Barbara, now a part of the Los Angeles Chapter. In addition to speaking engagements and published articles on the development and administration for 403(b), 401(k) and other qualified plans. Ms. Lensander has served on various ASPPA educational commitees. She has continually demonstrated her commitment to the promotion of education in the pension and benefits field.
